Some kitchens struggle against the architecture of the homes they are built into. For Jessica Fernandez and her family in Fairfax Station, Virginia, the kitchen had long been the one weak point in an otherwise beautiful, spacious home. The house is large and well-designed, but the kitchen was perpetually small, perpetually dark, and a constant source of frustration for a family of five who spends most of their daily life in that space. When Jessica finally decided to act on a kitchen remodeling project, she found Bull Run Kitchen & Bath through an online search — and the transformation that followed changed everything about how the family uses and enjoys their home.

The Fairfax Station kitchen remodeling project was motivated by a simple but powerful desire: to make the kitchen match the rest of the home. The house is big and beautiful, but the kitchen did not reflect that. It was dark, cramped, and not designed for the way a family of five — Jessica, her husband, and their three children — actually lives. Jessica found Bull Run Kitchen & Bath by searching online and was struck by the reviews she read. After making contact, she and her husband began the design process with Matt, their designer and consultant at Bull Run Kitchen & Bath. What made Matt stand out was not just his design knowledge but his approach to the client relationship. He did not simply agree with whatever Jessica and her husband suggested. He gave his own point of view, made recommendations, and treated the project as though it were his own kitchen — a level of investment that Jessica found deeply meaningful.
"He saw this kitchen as his own kitchen — and that's what I liked most about it."

The Transformation Process:
"The guys came, did their job, they clean up after themselves. We didn't even feel them."
Matt's involvement extended throughout the project. He was consistently present, consistently responsive, and consistently helpful — managing questions, handling concerns, and guiding the homeowners through each stage of the kitchen remodeling process with the care of someone who genuinely cared about the outcome.

Why Bull Run:

Testimonial:
“They are very honest, very professional, very helpful. I will suggest something to Matt and he would just tell me — he would give me his point of view. And I like that. No, he'd say 'I recommend this way.' And I like that. He just didn't say 'yeah, whatever you do, we will do it.' No — he saw this kitchen as his own kitchen.”
