A Kitchen Gut, Two Baths and a Deck in Haymarket, VA

The kitchen renovation was a complete gut — every cabinet, countertop, appliance, and surface was removed and replaced. Working with Hakan and Charlie through the design phase, the clients developed a plan that balanced their aesthetic preferences with practical functionality. Hakan's product knowledge and ability to guide material selections made the showroom and design process valuable. "Hakan knows his product and he's great with helping you make choices," the client noted. Charlie's communication and people skills complemented Hakan's technical depth — "Charlie is a great, real down-to-earth guy, a pleasure to work with."

The two bathroom renovations brought each space up to modern standards with updated fixtures, tile, cabinetry, and finishes that aligned with the home's overall design direction. The deck rounded out the exterior improvement and gave the family an outdoor living space to complement the refreshed interior.

Despite the scope and the disruption of living without a kitchen during construction, the clients' experience remained consistently positive. Bull Run Kitchen & Bath managed the project with clear communication and a commitment to resolving any concerns to the clients' satisfaction — every time.

"There were people on site doing the work, as well as the supervisory people — Charlie and the team — and it was wonderful to work with them the whole way through," the client said. "Very considerate, listened to our concerns, always asking if everything was the way we wanted it to be. At all times everything would resolve to our satisfaction."

The result — a completely transformed kitchen, two renovated bathrooms, and a new deck — matched what the clients had envisioned during the planning phase with Hakan and Charlie. "The kitchen turned out wonderfully the way we had planned. The bathrooms looked wonderful — everything we expected."
