When you have lived in a house since 2004, the original kitchen, master bathroom, and flooring that came with it have had a long time to show their age. For a Haymarket, Virginia family, the moment finally arrived to tackle all of it at once. Rather than phase the projects out over years, they made the practical decision to "mess up the house once" and do everything together. Bull Run Kitchen & Bath delivered the kitchen remodel, master bath renovation, and full first-floor flooring in approximately five weeks.

The Haymarket homeowners came to the remodeling process methodically. The recommendation came from a concrete source: neighbors on their street had used Bull Run Kitchen & Bath and were happy with the work. After visiting those neighbors' homes and seeing the craftsmanship firsthand, the decision was clear. The decision to hire Bull Run Kitchen & Bath came down to a combination of factors: strong communication throughout the design process, a broad selection of materials to choose from, and the use of 3D design software that allowed the homeowners to visualize the finished product before construction began.
"They had the 3D software, which helped us visualize what it would look like after they were done," the homeowner said. "We were able to make some minor adjustments to the things we needed."
Design & Materials:
Designer Khan at the Bull Run studio came out to the Haymarket home, took detailed measurements, and offered design ideas for both the kitchen and master bath — giving the homeowners a clear sense of direction and helping them work through the selection process. The material selection process was comprehensive and well-organized: flooring, countertops, cabinets, and hardware all reviewed and chosen with confidence. Bull Run Kitchen & Bath's showroom and selection resources made what could have been an overwhelming process feel manageable. The kitchen remodel delivered a completely updated cooking and gathering space with new cabinetry, countertops, and a layout designed for real-world functionality. The master bathroom renovation brought the primary suite up to modern standards with finishes and fixtures chosen to complement the home's overall aesthetic. New flooring throughout the first floor tied all the updated spaces together with a cohesive, fresh look. The homeowners noted that Bull Run's pricing was neither the highest nor the lowest among the contractors they considered — but the value for what they received was exceptional. "They weren't the most expensive, but they weren't the cheapest. It was a great value for what we wanted to get in our home."
The Transformation Process:
The Haymarket full house remodeling project was originally planned to begin in April, but COVID-19 shutdowns delayed the start. When Bull Run Kitchen & Bath received clearance to resume work, the team showed up immediately and executed with focus. All materials had been ordered and were on-site, so the project moved quickly once it began. The crew wore masks, followed all safety guidelines, set up protective plastic throughout the work areas, and cleaned up daily. "They helped with the cleanup, there's plastic everywhere, they cleaned up each day — and they went through the whole process and there was never an issue with anything like that," the homeowner noted. Project manager Sauna and foreman Juan kept the work organized and on schedule. The result: kitchen, master bath, and first-floor flooring — all completed in about five weeks.
