A Freestanding Tub Glass Shower Bathroom in Fredericksburg, VA

The Fredericksburg master bathroom remodel centered on a freestanding tub and a glass-enclosed walk-in shower — two statement features that anchor the design and give the room the spa-quality feeling the Allens wanted. Tracy guided the Allens through the material selection process with a steady hand, helping them refine their vision rather than directing them toward any predetermined outcome. The couple had ideas about colors and materials but, as they noted, Tracy helped steer them in a direction they ultimately loved far more than their starting point. Key design elements of this Fredericksburg bathroom remodel include:

- A freestanding soaking tub positioned as a visual focal point

- A glass shower enclosure that creates an open, airy feel

- Thoughtfully integrated storage solutions that addressed a persistent challenge in the original layout

- Carefully selected materials and color palettes that balanced the clients' preferences with Tracy's design expertise

The result is a bathroom that reflects the Allens' personal style while benefiting from the professional guidance that turns good ideas into great outcomes.

The construction phase of this Fredericksburg bathroom remodeling project ran approximately six weeks — a focused, efficient timeline during which the Allens came to know their Bull Run Kitchen & Bath crew personally. The dedicated team showed up every single day, maintaining consistency and progress throughout the project. Project manager Sanna stayed closely involved, making regular on-site visits to ensure everything was running on schedule and that the Allens were satisfied with the quality of work as it progressed. When unexpected situations arose — as they often do in any bathroom remodel — Sanna always had answers and solutions ready, moving quickly to resolve issues without panic or delay. Pam Allen has allergy sensitivities, and the crew took her health concerns seriously throughout the project, keeping the workspace unusually clean. They also took care around the Allens' animals during the renovation period — a level of personal consideration that left a lasting impression on the homeowners.

The Allens' experience illustrates why Bull Run Kitchen & Bath has earned such a strong reputation for bathroom remodeling in Fredericksburg and across Northern Virginia.
