A Freestanding Tub Gray Vanity Bathroom in Bristow, VA

The finished Bristow bathroom is a showcase of modern, edgy design with clean lines and spa-caliber features. Key elements of this bathroom remodel include:

- A freestanding soaking tub — one that the couple was not certain would fit the space but which turned out to be a perfect fit, becoming one of the standout features of the room

- A curbless walk-in shower with an open glass panel, creating a seamless, modern aesthetic that Adam describes as one of his favorite parts of the finished bathroom

- A gray vanity with a fresh, contemporary look that anchors the design palette

- A bidet, adding a touch of luxury and functionality that completes the spa-like experience

- Carefully selected tiles and finishes that create a cohesive, aesthetically pleasing environment throughout

The layout itself was reimagined during the renovation — the couple chose to change the floor plan, a decision that involved some uncertainty given that you never know what is behind the walls until construction begins. Solly's confidence and can-do attitude carried them through: "Yes, we can do it," was the consistent answer, even when the scope required additional flexibility.

Once construction began, the Bristow bathroom renovation moved quickly and smoothly. Adam was surprised by how seamlessly the work progressed once it started, and the construction crew — Carlos, Julio, Nancy, Rudy, and others — made a strong impression on the whole family. Professional, kind, and considerate of the household's daily rhythms, the team worked efficiently while making the experience as comfortable as possible for Adam, Kate, and their daughter. The project was signed in January and started in late May — a waiting period that Adam and Kate felt was worth every week, given the results. "The fact that they're so busy was probably a good sign," they noted, recognizing that a highly sought-after contractor is often sought-after for good reason.
