Sometimes the most convincing imonial isn't about square footage or tile specifications — it's about the feeling a finished space creates and the way a client tells the story. For one Haymarket, Virginia homeowner, the bathroom remodeling project he completed with Bull Run Kitchen & Bath produced exactly that kind of result: a transformation from old and dingy to clean and beautiful, delivered by a professional team, at the price they quoted, with results his wife still gets complimented on to this day.

The Haymarket bathroom had seen better days. Old, worn, and visually tired, it was the kind of space that homeowners put up with for too long before finally deciding that enough is enough. When this homeowner decided to move forward with a bathroom remodel, he worked with Bull Run Kitchen & Bath's designer Tracy to develop a plan for the space — and from the first meeting through final installation, the experience exceeded his expectations at every turn. The project scope encompassed a full bathroom transformation: new surfaces, new fixtures, and all the work that goes into turning a dated bathroom into a space that looks and feels genuinely new. The result was a bathroom that made an immediate impression on everyone who saw it — particularly his wife, who has received more compliments on the finished bathroom than he can count.
Design & Materials:
Working with Tracy, the homeowner developed a design vision for the Haymarket bathroom that addressed everything that wasn't working in the original space while creating something fresh and welcoming in its place. Tracy's design expertise guided the material selection and layout decisions, helping the client move from a general sense of what he wanted to specific, actionable choices that could be executed by the installation team. The finished bathroom reflects the kind of thoughtful, professional design that Bull Run Kitchen & Bath brings to every Northern Virginia bathroom remodeling project — not just new tile and a fresh coat of paint, but a coherent design vision executed with care at every detail.
The Transformation Process:
Two aspects of the project stood out to this Haymarket homeowner as particularly notable: the consistency of the crew and the integrity of the pricing. On crew consistency: "One thing I gotta say is very professional — same team came every day until it was completed." In the remodeling industry, where a different set of workers can show up each day on some projects, having the same familiar faces throughout the project creates continuity, accountability, and trust. When the crew knows the project from day one, every decision and installation reflects a consistent understanding of the design intent. On pricing: "They gave us a price — that was the price — and they stand behind their work." Fixed-price contracting is a mark of a confident, well-organized operation. A contractor who can give a firm quote and hold to it isn't guessing — they know their costs, they plan their work, and they honor their commitments. For homeowners who've dealt with contractors who quote one number and invoice another, this kind of pricing integrity is a revelation. The team also took care to minimize dust during the project, using plastic sheeting to protect the rest of the home — a professional practice that reflects respect for the homeowner's living space during the disruption of construction. Project manager Sam kept the project coordinated and on track, working alongside Tracy's design guidance to deliver a bathroom remodeling result that matched the original vision.
